Combine at TigerTown
November 8th and 9th (players report the evening of the 7th)
- Tiger Town, in Lakeland, FL, Spring Training home of the Detroit Tigers, will host a showcase this fall like none other. High School players will be instructed and evaluated by coaches from some of the top college programs in the country and professional instructors from the Detroit Tigers organization.
- Players will report on Friday evening and check into Fetzer Hall, the dormitory used by the Detroit Tigers. Each room is equipped with high speed internet, phone and digital cable. Players will be fed all meals in the cafeteria and can spend some free time in the recreation room where they can enjoy pool tables, ping pong, darts and big screen plasma TV’s.
- On the field, players will be given instruction specific to the coaches program they represent in a professional Spring Training atmosphere. You will be taught the same way they teach their college players. They will have the opportunity to improve there game while at the same time, be one on one with college recruiters. Players will also have the opportunity to play in games and showcase their skills.
- All players will be video taped and evaluated. Players will also receive a free Prospect Report on the Florida High School Baseball Report (www.flhsbaseballreport.com), where their videos and evaluations will be published.
- This event will provide a valuable assessment of what is sought out and expected of you from college coaches and recruiters. Having this rare one on one interaction with these top college programs is an opportunity of a lifetime for any aspiring ballplayer. There is limited availability, don't miss it!
